"New Legs to the Community"

The members of Lt. Dan's New Legs brainstormed a way to shine light on the everyday issues that society faces from poverty and sickness, to an overall lack of opportunity.  They came up with a project called "New Legs to the Community" in which LDNL gives back to the city where it is needed most.  The members of LDNL feel they have been fortunate enough to travel the world, so in addition to their performances, they support some very important causes.  The members have participated in many charity events such as: perfoming for terminally ill children, donating groceries and spending time with men and women transitioning back into society, performing shows for those who are incarcerated at maximum security prisons, donating food to churches and VOA organizations, and raising money for cancer patients.  Lt Dan's New Legs also performed for the U.S. troops overseas in the Asia Pacific region in their efforts to recognize where giving was due.  LDNL has worked closely with Nationwide Children's Hospital, Cleveland Clinic, St Mary Vincent's of Cleveland, VOA of Port Clinton, Orient Correctional Facility, amongst other organizations. Should you be interested in having LDNL participate in your facility or at your event, feel free to email Christina at cwienke@gmail.com.

“LDNL transformed an ordinary benefit into an extraordinary event by unselfishly donated their time and talent to help raise money for a friend in need! Their ability to entertain and keep the crowd on the dance floor made it a benefit to remember.” ~ Rock Out for Rory Committee

"The guys were amazing, and you were all such a pleasure to work with. Thank you for putting on such a great show. The band was definitely the highlight of the evening."  ~ Jessica Snyder, Special Events Coordinator- United Way Cleveland
